Personal Watercraft

Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course

This course teaches new drivers how to use their Personal Watercraft (PWC) or Jet Ski safely, responsibly and with confidence, ensuring they get the best out of their craft.
Course Type:

Personal Watercraft, adult and junior Course
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:

None
Assumed Knowledge:

None. Minimum age 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued an endorsed certificate.

Club Safety Boat

This course is for all water based clubs, whether yacht, Dragon boat or Rowing we can tailor our course to meet your requirements."

Aim: To increase safety and proficiency of safety boat operators, enabling better safety cover for sailors involved in yacht club activities.

Duration: 16 hours.
Learning Options: Theory and practical instruction.
Qualification: Club Safety Boat Operator Qualification (Endorsed by Yachting NZ)

Prerequisites: Marine VHF Radio Operators and First Aid recommended. Powerboat Level Two recommended for craft powered by 25HP and above.
