Own Boat Tuition

Morningtide is extremely proud of our flexibility, diversity and broad knowledge of most powerboats
operating in today’s global maritime sector. As such we are in a perfect position to offer own boat
or specialised training to fit your exact needs.

Whether you are an individual a group of friends or an organisation, we can tailor a course to fit
your exact needs. We offer both afloat practical boat handling skills as well as the theory if required.

We can offer formal courses such as the RYA certificates of competency, which are held in high regard
throughout Europe, Coastguard theory courses or simply train you in what you feel is important for your unique needs.

No level of training is too small or large for us, if you are simply having difficulty mooring or berthing your boat,
give us a call and we will come and offer tips and demonstrate valuable techniques until you feel you are comfortable
and competent. We can also train large groups in high-speed advanced passage making and precision navigation if this
fits your needs. You tell us what you want and we design the training and deliver it in your area of operation.

Our instructors are pleasant, motivated people who care passionately about keeping boaties safe at sea, through
education and training. They are happy to train from absolute basic (never been on a boat before) right through
to advanced experienced clients.

With Morningtide’s diverse instructor background, we are pleased to be able to develop practical safety courses
for organisations and companies. As a duty of care and in an increasingly litigious society it is wise for organisations
to provide solid training for their members/employees. This will not only create a safer workplace but also a more
efficient workforce, operating well-maintained vessels reducing injuries and the need for costly repairs to equipment.
